The World Bank Group committed $52.6 billion in loans, grants, equity investments, and guarantees to help promote economic growth, increase shared prosperity, and fight extreme poverty in developing countries during fiscal year 2013, which ended on June 30.
Despite a difficult global economic environment, the commitments for IDA – the World Bank’s fund for the poorest countries – were at an all-time high, and the Bank Group’s investments in private sector financing and political insurance guarantees also were at record highs.
The Bank recently raised its growth forecast for 2013 to 5.1 percent for developing countries, up from 5.0 percent in 2012, and noted that developing-country GDP is forecast to strengthen in coming years. Risks from advanced economies have declined and growth prospects are increasing, despite ongoing contraction in the Euro Area. Growth in some countries has been held back and is unlikely to reach pre-crisis growth rates unless supply-side reforms are completed.

Мрежата за заштита од дискриминација вчера, 18 јули 2013 година, до Основното jавно обвинителство Скопје поднесе кривична пријава против СКОПЈЕ СИТИ МОЛ и одговорните лица во овој трговски центар, поради постоење на основано сомнение дека го сториле кривичното дело Расна и друга дискриминација. Кривичната пријава е поднесена со цел да се спроведе истрага за конкретниот случај, да се истражи вистинитоста на наводите за сторена дискриминација врз основа на расна и етничка припадност, да се покрене постапка пред надлежен суд со цел казнување на сторителот на кривичното дело.
Иако од денот кога за случајот СКОПЈЕ СИТИ МОЛ се дозна преку медиумите, (19.03.2013 година) до денеска изминаа скоро 4 месеци, во јавноста сѐ уште нема одговор дали јавното обвинителство го истражи случајот и поведе постапка со која би се утврдило сторувањето на наводната дискриминација.
On June 24, 2013 the Executive Board concluded its review of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Transparency Policy, based on a staff report entitled 2013 Review of the Fund’s Transparency Policy (hereafter referred to as “the paper”).
The IMF views transparency as a critical support for its objectives of promoting global economic and financial stability, by stimulating public discussion of economic policies, and facilitating orderly and efficient functioning of financial markets.
Two decades of reforms have improved significantly the IMF’s transparency. Starting in the late 1990s, the IMF has been publishing an increasing number of its documents, and over 90 percent of country documents and policy papers are now published. In addition, the Fund has gradually opened up its historical archives to the public, and now interacts regularly with the public through outreach, press briefings, and the publication of information via its external website. Enhanced transparency proved important during the global financial crisis: the IMF was able to contribute to public debates through open discussion of risks and policy options, and to respond to public scrutiny of its increased financing activities.
Преку издавање на четири пакети државни хартии од вредност, Владата денес ќе ја задолжи државата со нови 18,8 милиони евра. Како што информираат од Министерството за финансии, планирано е да се издадат два пакета од двегодишни државни обврзници, еден пакет петгодишна обврзница и еден пакет шестмесечни државни хартии од вредност.
Веќе, в среда, државата треба да исплати вкупно 18,8 милиони евра за достасан долг.
Планирано е да се продаде двегодишна државна обврзница, без девизна клаузула во износ од 10,7 милиони евра, како и двегодишна обврзница со евроклаузула, со износ од 1,6 милиони евра.
Петгодишната државна обврзница која оди на аукција е заштитена со евроклаузула, а е во вкупен износ од 2,9 милиони евра.
Ќе се продаваат и шестмесечни државни хартии од вредност, со евроклаузула, во вкупен износ од 3,6 милиони евра.
