The European Parliament adopted report on the “EU and the global development framework after 2015”on November 11th.The report, authored by Croatian centre-right MEP Davor Ivo Stier, plays a key role in establishing the European Parliament’s position for negotiations on the global development framework after 2015. It promotes the human rights-based approach and the central role of women and girls as important pillars in the post-2015 framework. It calls for an inclusion of ambitious targets related to the rights of women and girls, including their sexual and reproductive health and rights, and stresses the need for universal access to health services, including family planning. In addition, it promotes non-discrimination of the most vulnerable people in society, as well as research and innovation in responding to global health challenges.
The report was adopted with a majority of 541 votes in favour, 96 votes against and 21 abstentions.

Само 3,3 отсто од државните институции во земјава на своите веб страници го имаат објавено тековниот буџет како и трошоците кои ги имале во текот на годината. Останатите институции уште стојат на податоците од 2013та година, а најголемиот дел од нив немаат објавено ни тековен стратешки план за работа.
Трошењето на народните пари кај нас е апсолутно нетранспарентно иако 20 години наназад се учи што е да се биде транспарентен и одговорен, сметаат експертите.
Според статистички податоци или она што е јавно обелоденето се гледа дека најголем дел на тендери се спроведени за избор на проектни и архитектонски решенија во минатата година. Истотака двојно е зголемен бројот на јавните набавки во вредност под 5 000 евра за што не постои законска обврска јавно да се образложува намената.
Според д-р Слаѓана Тасева, претседателка на организацијата „Транспаренси Интернешнал“ преку ваквите механизми власта изнаоѓа начини како да оди преку помали набавки и помал обем за помалку да биде обврзана да дава отчет за своите постапки на јавноста.
Во октомври 2014 година, Владата ја објави Фискалната стратегија за периодот од 2015 до 2017 година. Фискалната стратегија до Собранието на Р. Македонија беше поднесена во прилог на Предлог буџетот на РМ за 2015 година во текот на месец септември.
Во Фискалната стратегија Владата на РМ дава осврт на повеќе макроекономски и фискални теми, како: економски движења во светот, економски движења во Р. Македонија, Буџет на Р. Македонија за 2014 година, Буџет на локалните самоуправи за 2014 година, ризици поврзани со макроекономските проекции, информации и ризици за управување со јавен долг итн.

Violence against women and girls is a global pandemic that destroys lives, fractures communities and holds back development, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said as the world body today marked the International Day to End Violence against Women.
“But violence against women and girls does not emerge from nowhere. It is simply the most extreme example of the political, financial, social and economic oppression of women and girls worldwide,” Mr. Ban said at an Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) event at Headquarters.
Joining Mr. Ban at today’s panel discussion were UN Women Executive-Director Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka; First Lady of New York, Chirlane McCray, and actor Teri Hatcher, among others.
Knowledge is power, and Dr. Anna Alvazzi del Frate believes that information on the way small arms proliferation effects women and girls can help save lives.
“We believe that knowledge is the key to the development of effective policies,” she said. “Through providing independent information and analysis, [we] contribute to the international efforts…to constrain the proliferation of light arms and weapons and contribute to safer communities around the world.”
Alvazzi is the research director for the Small Arms Survey, an NGO that looks at the proliferation and dangers brought on by the misuse of small arms across the world. The organization monitors all aspects of small arms violence and acts as a resource for governments and others with information on the issue.
This year the group took a closer look at how gun violence affects the rights of women in their report, “Small Arms Survey: Women and Guns”.
“We have a good collaboration with the OHCHR,” she said. “As a reference for any step in our work, we use the methodologies from the office such as the Human Rights Indicators. We also keep them informed of our progress of our research by sharing our publications and inviting officers to meeting where we present our results.”
