GLOBAL — Plan has launched its 2014 State of the World’s Girls report in the run-up to International Day of the Girl on 11 October. The report shows how visible and invisible forms of power over girls are reproduced and deepened through society’s most powerful institutions, the work that still needs to be done in terms of gender equality, and analyses the barriers that girls face on their own pathway towards empowerment.
