Norway - Small Men on Big Issues - Talking About Gender Equality - FOKUS Campaign

FOKUS – Forum for Women and Development in Norway has launched a campaign where boys from Norway and Tanzania are talking about gender equality, power and politics.

The campaign is called Small Men on Big Issues, and the goal is to engage men and boys in the fight for gender equality. It consists of a series of short films where Norwegian and Tanzanian boys aged 5-9, talk about gender equality. The films are available in English and Norwegian. Our main target group are men from 30-60 years old, but we think that the campaign can appeal to younger boys as well.

We will publish the films this week (from December 14 to December 18) on the FOKUS Facebook page, Twitter and on a campaign website www.smallmenonbigissues.com. We hope that you will like the campaign, and that you will help promoting it by sharing the films and the link to the website in your channels.

Additional information, and a quiz, will be made available at www.smallmenonbigissues.no

Feel free to create your own Facebook messages and tweets. If you rather want to copy ours, that’s fine too. Follow our social media channels, or use some of the example messages at the end of this email.
